1993 Mitsubishi 3000gt Hood Touched Battery Terminals Car Instantly Shut Down

The hood touched the battery terminals in my car and instantly shut down. I put a new battery in it but still will not turn over and has no power at all. I have checked all fuses and can not find the problem. What could be the cause.

Check fusible link 1, 3, and 4 links in the central junction box, right side of engine compartment
