Front of the engine making noise

Front of the engine making noise, ladie I purchase the car from, said she got the timing blt, water pump, tensinor replaced. First I started I wouldnt idle with out me holding down the gas padel for 30sec, I left the car started for 30mins and it just cut off, I tried restarting but only thing i was hearing was click click fron the engine, batter is still good please help me find this solution
