The passenger door will not open. Problem was not caused by an accident. The door is unlocked. The power window works fine. No amount of pushing/pulling can open the door. Any ideas about what is going on here?

Chances are the linkage to the door latch has come disconnected. Remove the door panel and inspect the linkage.

THIS WORKED ON MY SISTERS CAR

LAY ON YOUR BACK IN THE SEAT

HAVE HELPER HOLD THE DOOR HANDLE OUTSIDE, IN THE OPEN POSITION.....STANDING OUT OF THE WAY!!!!

GIVE IT A GOOD WELL PLACED KICK TO AN AREA ON THE REAR OF THE DOOR, CAREFUL ABOUT BREAKING PLASTIC STUFF!!!

INSPECT/ LUBRICATE LATCH, CHECK IT'S FUNCTION PRIOR TO CLOSING THE DOOR AGAIN

CRUDE, BUT IT WORKED!

SEAT BELT GOT WEDGED IN HERS...DIDN'T KNOW, TILL IT WAS OPENED
