1993 Mercury Villager Car Chugs Hesitate Stalls Out Hear Fuel Pump Running

The car chugs, hesitate then stalls out. I can hear the fuel pump running. Also the fuel filter was just replaced. Now, how do i check for a bad cap. I dont see any visible signs of cracks

cap has no effect on running.

check fuel pressure.
