does my car have a multifunction relay?

my wiper stopped working last week, and now my indicators wont work too. a mechanic told me that my wiper relay was faulty and said that it is what has caused the indicators to fail. the turn signals and double indicators are not working.

sorry, never heard of that relay.

i would get a second opinion. check the fuses first. beyond that, i dont think the 2 are related at all.

Yes, there is a combination relay for the circuit and it is possible for it to cause the problems described if it is faulty. The newer models are known as integrated relay.
