All of a sudden car started slightly smoking, all lights on dashboard lit up, slowly seemed like was over heating but then dropped and when we stopped to check it all kinds of water came running out and steering got hard

better start with checking that the cooling system is ok, check level and correct if low, and if low get a cooling system pressure test done to check for any external leaks, you will need to start here.
