The car is not moving when I put it in gear I fitted a new filter and oil but the problem pisests so please help me if there is any thing that I can do please let my know it is over 3 weeks now that my car is standing

Has the check engine light come on? As far as the transmission, have you checked the linkage to make sure it is attached and shifting the transmission into gear? Did this happen all at once?
