my truck will not turn over when i turn the ignition on i get a ticking sound from my gas tank i have replaced the pump and tank but still do not get a hum from my pump just a ticking sound truck will not start.

Are you sure the noise is from the fuel tank? Fuel injection system fuel pump don't tick, only carburetted pump might.
Have you tested for power supply to the fuel pump?
