OK I bought a 93 Mazda b2200 with a 2.2 carberated engine with 112 k mi it had idling issues where it would idle around 500 rpm and had a lack of power when driving one day it lost all power I figured out that it jumped time I advanced the distributer and it ran better than it had since I got it so I got it to the house and removed the timing belt unfortunately I didn't mark anything and moved the cam and crank I lined them up with the arrow on the cam at the 12 o'clock position and the crank with the slot at the same I replaced the coil wires cap button and pick up coil the truck would not start it turns over but doesn't seem to fire as if it's out of time I have taken this thing apart and redid the alignment 4 times I've been working on vehicles for years and have never run into this before am I missing something here some one please help I really need my truck thanks kt

Recheck your work with this diagram it is the same for a 2.0 and 2.2.L but if it still is messed up take a look at the pic as this came off of our tips page and yours may be the same.

Yes it may be but I screwed up and sent the wrong pic sorry this is the correct one. If it's like this make sure the dist rotor is going to #1 as well. If not then try moving it one notch on crank. I really don't know what to tell you.

Just thought of soemthign it may not have been on tdc when you installed the crank it might be off 180 so make sure it is at tdc first.
