whenever i turn the steering wheel the front driver-side wheel makes the horrible sound

I have a 93 lincoln mark viii - Like metal on metal screech. help me? ! when i bought the car almost a year ago i had to replace the ball joint because it broke off i was riding on 3 wheels.. im thinking it is the same thing.. and my message center said "check air ride system" i just hope it doesn't break off while im on the highway.. please help

Is sounds like you have a loose belt for the power steering, Have the computer scanned to identify why the message is on.
