timing problem

i have lexus ls400 93; it was not starting so took it shop; they said they they replace the fuel pump and fixed the timing. now the catalytic converter are getting red hot. the shop has no clue what is causing. any advise will be great.

Could be running rich due to the following:

1.Excessive fuel pressure can be cause by restricted fuel return line
2.Defective Oxygen Sensors.
3.Leaking injectors and fuel pressure regulator.
4.Coolant temperature sensor out of calibration.
5.Restricted air intake system.
