Received an engine error code 15 & 12. Traced the problem to the speed sensor which just stop working since mileage & the odometer have stopped working.

Bought the replacement sensor and began what seemed to be an easy job, but noticed the old sensor tip had broken off.

Any suggestions on how to remove the broken off sensor pin?
Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
webdude

Thanks 4 the follow-up Jacobandnickolas.

It was on the trans. After trying a number of things I did to find a solution I'd like 2 share for anyone that experience the same problem.

Solution found:
1. I removed the speed sensor housing unit from the side of the trans.
2. Pushed out the pin from the opposite end of the housing unit with a thin stiff wire.
3. Re-installed the housing unit to the trans
4. Installed the new speed sensor.

The sensor is now working fine with no more error codes.

Thanks again 4 the follow-up.
