Can I replace the fuel supply or return quick connect with clamp connect?

The fuel return quick connect is leaking fuel.Do I have to buy another quick connect or can I fix the problem with a different connection,for example , a hose and clamp?

You can use anything you want as long as it doesn't leak, and you're prepared for the consequences of a modification if it causes a fire or some other reason for insurance investigators or lawyers to get involved. Any metal pipe must have some type of barb or ridge to prevent the clamped hose from sliding off. There can even be a little pressure in a return line.
