My brake lights do not work suddenly. I have changed the bulbs and the fuses and still nothing. The auto part store said it might be the switch. I am just wondering if when I change the switch and it still doesn't work, what would the problem be? Thank you

Start with the switch. If it still doesn't work, then I hate to say it, but it's time to trace wires to see where the power is lost. I will assume that the fuses are good and there is power in the fuse box.

Thank you. Yes, I am pretty sure there is power in the fuse box since everything else is working. The brake lights are the only problem, well as of now... LOL... I will be changing the switch tomorrow. I will report the outcome afterwards... I really hope this fixes it. I don't want to pay to take my car somewhere. :-(

I understand why you don't want to take it to a shop. The cost per hour is crazy. Well, I'll be here to try and help. Let me know what you find.
