The car will start fine, when i guve it gas it wants to die or does die, but when i get it out of first its fine, is it a timing problem?

This only happens in 1st gear? If it runs okay in other gears, timing isn't an issue.

Well sometimes not always it does it in second gear also it kind hesitates

Have you checked the simple things such as for vacuum leaks, is the catalytic converter plugging, is it in need of a tune up...
Also, a 93 goes back many years. I can't recall if it is fuel injected or has a carb. Can you tell me?

Figured it out it was a mass air flow sensor, can you out a bloww off valve on a stock honda with vtec?
