1993 Honda Accord Loudness and problem with acceleration

Recently my car has become really loud. There isn't really any good way to describe it, except that it sounds like a race car or a diesel truck. It wasn't always this loud, and it is constant. My car has also been having trouble accelerating up hills, and the noise increases. I notice a different noise whenever I let off of the gas but I cannot describe it. I'm not sure if my car just needs a tuneup, is just old, or if there is a specific problem that needs fixing. Thanks!

Check exhaust system may have a hole in it and partially blocked.

I would have it checked for possible exhaust leak or clogged converter. Unless the sound is more metallic then you may have internal engine issues. I would recommend taking it to a pro to diagnose.
