headlight problem

ive replaced the headlight switch and it still didnt fix it and all the lights works flashers parking brakes ect just the low beams wont work and i have to play with the dimmer switch to get it to come on high beams will come on but wont stay on i have to hold it

Dimmer switch is a separate thumb wheel? Sounds like the internal contacts are worn out. It should be replaced.
