Will the transmission from a 1992 Ford Taurus Fit a 1993 Ford Taurus?

I have both a 1992 and a 1993 ford taurus and I wanted to know if the transmission from the 1992 will fit into the 1993.

Must be the same engine and the same trans. There is a electronic connector at the top by the shifter linkage that must be the same.

Yes as long as the dealer says the trans has the same part # for both years
