How do I fix the range indicator in this truck

I am buying this truck to replace one I totaled after a deer collided with me I would really like to know how to replace the range indictor as it does not work and I need it so I can see the gear I am in

Is it a floor shift or column? If it's a column it may be connected to dash ip and there should be a screw holding it to the column or a pin. It may have come off otherewise the ip has to come apart and see if you can fix it there.
