I have a 93 ranger with the a4ld automatic trans and every time I put it in gear it stalls out so I changed the torque converter and both solenoids and for about 30 mins after that it would go into gear an start to go for about 5 feet an then it would act like it just went into nutrual an after about a half hour after that it would stall out again when I put it in gear but if I jack up the rear end so the tires are off the ground everything works fine
