1993 Ford Falcon Discovered Ed Had Engine Change Ea 3 9 Before That Purchased

I have discovered my ed falcon had an engine change to an ea 3.9, but before I discovered that, I purchased a recon el cylinder head which would have been an easy swap but with the motor being an earlier model it poses the problem that the gaskets for the 2 parts are different, Therefore I would like to know how I can match the el head to the ea block?
