how do you change the starter motor?

Don't know what year so I will do this in a general. .Disconnect the positive side of the battery The starter is generally on the passenger side. Two bolts hold the starter in place. Take a picture of the wires before you disconnect them. remove the wire {usually two. One big and one small} After taking the picture remove the wires to the starter, then the two bolts. To replace work in reverse using the picture of what wire goes where. Taking a picture comes in handy, replace a altinator in a bulldozer one day and it had so many wire. Took picture after wiping them off and was able to use the picture as reference to where they went back on
