I am trying to change the wiper motor on my 1993 Explorer, but I see no screws to remove cowling. How do I remove cowling, to remove wiper motor?

Here are the removal and installation procedures. Seems the cowl need not be removed.

Removal & Installation

1. Turn wipers on. Use ignition switch to stop wipers when blades are vertical. Unplug wiper motor connector. Remove right wiper arm and blade. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove right pivot nut. Allow linkage to drop into cowl.

2. Remove linkage access cover. Reach through access cover opening and unsnap wiper motor clip. Push clip away from linkage until it clears nib on crank pin. Remove clip from linkage. Disengage wiper linkage from motor crank pin. Remove wiper motor retaining screws and motor. To install, reverse removal procedure.

Thanks KHLow2008. I'm sure this info will now make it possible for me to remove/replace faulty wiper motor. Can't operate blades to get them vertical, because gears in motor are stripped, and they don't move, which is why I have to replace motor. Might have moved wiper blades by hand, but I have already dis-connected everything. As I stated though, I now have a better idea on how to remove motor. Your help was greatly appreciated :)
