BELIEVE ME, THE "ADD ON REMOTE STUFF" IS A PAIN AND DELICATE
LOTS OF TESTING INVOLVED TO INSURE THE WIRING IS PERFECT
I DID THIS EXACT SAME THING WITH MY "EZ" 1977 JEEP CJ-5 MAINLY 'CAUSE I HATE TO KEEP UP WITH KEYS.
I MADE IT EZily REVERSIBLE IN THAT I SIMPLY PLUG "MY HOMEMADE ASSEMBLY" INTO THE HARNESS WHERE I REMOVED THE ORIGINAL IGNITION SWITCH. A "SECURITY" HIDDEN TOGGLE KEEPS IT FROM BEING STOLEN OR PLAYED WITH
THIS PROJECT TOOK ME OVER A WEEK, COST WAS AROUND $30 AND MY JEEP HAS NO COMPUTER CRAP INVOLVED LIKE YOUR RIG
