This is a 93 Crown Victiori with a tilt steering wheel. I have replaced the ignition switch and now can not get the key to come out of the switch. What did I do wrong.

Did you move the wheel around while trying?

If you have, the cylinder may be bad.

Make sure you have it inserted all the way. There is a lock pin that engages it's locking hole on the first turn all the way off. If the pin misses the hole, you won't be able to turn it all the way off.

Yes, I have tried to wiggle it out. No go. The key will go in and start the car and will kill the car, but the key just wont remove.
