alternator problems

I installed a new battery. As soon as i installed it i noticed my radio wasnt getting any power to it at all. Then the next day the car wont turn over. Lights in the car work and everything its jus the car wont start. It sounds like its dead tryning to turn over but won't. Bad alternator?

Very uncommon for the alternator to cause the radio to stop working if have a fully charged battery
recheck your connections and fuses
try and get a jump start ,check battery volts when engine is running
