I have a 1993 Ford aerostar in which I am trying to add freon to. Not sure which is the low side. Is it the fitting on the line in front or the one on the canister?

Has the vehicle been retrofitted to R134A yet? It was manufactured with R12

You can't "just add freon". They don't make the refrigerant that truck uses any more. The system has to be retrofit to the new refrigerant.

The accumulator is in the suction line before the evaporator.

You are losing me. I only see two. One in the line and one in a black cannister. So you are saying it is in the line?

No, I was telling you where to find the accumulator. Working with refrigerant can be very dangerous for inexperienced people and I don't feel comfortable that you have enough experience to deal with this.
