1993 Chrysler New Yorker digital dash, ad console

red sweep gauges, odometer, and overhead digital console not working. bought the car from a lady whose husband just died and said he may have done something to it as he was an amateur mechanic. dash does light up green, and red sweep gauges do move up and down when you first turn key, but go all the way down and dont indicate anything on any of the gauges. overhead console does not work at all. thank you for any suggestions.

Start by checking for weak or broken body grounds. Also, check to make sure the wiring under the dash is tight. If everything looks okay, you may need to have the body control module (BCM) checked.
