ok when i put the car in reverse and press gas it wont go when i wait a minute it kicks into gear and goes in reverse when im driving it revs up and doesnt wanna go and then kicks in to speed what is going on it

That could be a few things. Check to make sure the fluid is clean and full. Other than that, there could be a problem with the valve body, a weak pump...
