The door trim piece that holds the interior door handle on my 1993 concorde is broken. I haven't been able to find a replacement so I'm wondering if there's a compatible door panel from another car.

None that will be an exact match. Have you tried looking at online salvage yards? Also, the interior handle is screwed into place. Is that what broke?

There's the plastic woodgrain insert that holds the switch for the power locks, a vent for the A/C and heat and the handle. The 2 holes that hold the rod and allows the handle to pivot in place when you open the door are broken. As a result when I go to open the door I end up pulling the handle free of everything before the latch is triggered.

It sounds like the handle itself is broken. It is held in by a screw. Then behind it is the linkage. There is one clip that holds the linkage in place. It turns and clips to the linkage rod. Turn it and the clip will release and come off the handle.
