I have a 93 Chevy truck with a 5.7L engine. It runs really good but will just shut off on u at anytime. One day it will crank up with two turns of the motor. And the next day it acts like the fuel pump is out. But fuel is coming out the TBI, I have replaced already the fuel pump, fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap + rotor, ignition coil, pick up coil, and module. Every time I replace something it runs great again and I get happy. But then same old thing happens. I ran the code and it's telling me it's a ESC. (Electric spark sensor ) I ordered it. Part# ESC104. Then I go to put it on and I can't find where it goes. I look it up and it's not where it shows to be. Guess some motors don't have that ESC. SO now I'm out of ideas.

Have you checked the crank sensor? Was it the ignition control module that you replaced?

I replaced the box right behind the tbi that the short spark plug wire goes to. And I also replaced the ignition control module inside the distributor cap. And I replaced the pickup coil that you have to pull distributor out to get to.

I don't have access to my manual at this time. However, I believe your vehicle has a crank sensor which can cause this problem. Additionally, if the oil pressure switch has gone bad, it will shut spark down. You can bypass the switch to see if that changes anything.
