i got a 1993 chevy geo storm and the engine over heats whats the problem?

Check to see if the cooling fan is working, you might have a stuck thermostat.

Make sure the coolant is full. Make sure the thermostat is opening. If the vehicle only overheats when stopped, check to make sure the cooling fans are coming on, and check to make sure the radiator isn't plugging.
