Hi, I have a 1993 s10 blazer 4x4 4.3l CPI that will not start. I have replaced the following so far. CAP&ROTOR, MODUEL, COIL AND PLUG WIRES. I finally have good spark and still will not even attempt to start. Then I replaced the fuel pump and filter. Now it will fire once in a while when its cranking but still will not start. I have not ran a fuel pressure test because I don't have a gauge but I would assume with a new pump and filter its good. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?

Hopefully you got the correct pump as there are two and one doesn't have enough pressure. You should have vin W and have 55-61 psi. Auto parts rent the gauge. Scan for codes to see if anything shows up then go to our how to repair site and look under OBD1 for the problem. Remove the cap and see if you can move the rotor if you can then the gear is bad at bottom of dist. If you spray choke cleaner down throttle and it starts it's a fuel issue.

If you're suspecting a distributor issue, take the cap off and crank the engine, see if the rotor turns while cranking. A fuel pressure test is a definite check also just to rule it out as a problem.
