The speedometer has gone from 0-85 while sitting still

Now the car will not start at all. Any suggestions? While idling the speedometer goes from 0-85 mph, its done it only a handful of times. But today it will not start at all.

Do you have any codes?Also does it crank no start or no crank no start?

I honestly don't know what a code is ( sorry, I am not good with cars at all). When I turn it over, it makes one slight try to turn on but not a continous crank.

So its acting like a dead battery?If so first thing I would is have the battery tested and make the battery cables are clean and tight. Thats where I would start as far as codes goes when the computer sense a fault in one of the control systems it sets a code in the computer.
