1993 Chevrolet Lumina Over 50 Mph Rpms Would Jolt Down Gas Pedal Lock Shake

when i go over 50 mph the rpms would jolt up and down the gas pedal would like lock up and it would shake a little right when it was about to act up it would get really hot by my feet then would cool down and be fine
