The car is running rich at idle then when you try to excelerate the car stalls out.

Is the check engine light on?

No the check engine light is not on and I have already changed the fuel filter and the IAC valve. The vacum hose going to the pcv valve was leaking and the vacum line going to modgelator valve was also leaking but I fixed those and now it idles rich and still want take gas.

Have you tried to check for trouble codes?

That will be my next step. I wasn't sure if it would read a code if the check engine light or any other indicator light was on.

You have an OBD1 system. It could have a code stored and the light be off. Check that and let me know what you find.
