There is gas coming out of the throttle body and the air filter was full of gas. I have read that is might be the pressure regulator but have not been able to find out where that part is located and how to replace it any help is greatly appreciated.

I would be considering a leaking injector, the fuel must leak through an injector to get into the manifold, a fuel pressure test will prove the regulator is working or not as well.

Yes we did fix it. It was the Fuel Pressure Regulator was leaking fuel. Was quite a job but finally got it done. Also replaced the IAC and Throttle Position Sensor since the were soaked in gas as well. Only one word of advice if you do it yourself when you put the Plenum back on after completed the work make sure the gasket between the Plenum and in intake manifold does not slip outta of place. Use some RTV on it if just a little bit to hold it. Ours slipped out of place and of course a cold front had come in that night and it made the car like a rocket and hit the house. All is good thought. Took about 3 weeks because kept getting so cold outside. Good luck.
