I can't charge the battery

I have a 1993 Chevy corsica, now my problem is that the last mechanic replaced one of the battery bolts (used to charge the battery) with a normal bolt is there any way i can charge it with out having to take the battery out?the + battery plug on my battery has been replaced with a regular bolt and is un-chargeable how can I charge it?

You can charge it behind the alternator if the battery terminal is by itself to ground
