oil pressure 93 astrovan

oil pressure loss when astrovan warmed up, checked oil very low put in 2qts level full still no oil press. next morning pressure back was told this is related to worn main bearings in motor, never heard of this have you

so your saying the pressure is fine now even when warm? the sender probably had an air bubble in it or is partially plugged so it took awhile to get the right reading? if engine is old and worn you may want to use heavier oil than what you use now and add a oil stabilizer like LUCAS brand to improve oil pressure.
