I'm trying to check the ignition timing but I can't figure out how to put the ignition system in bypass mode. It doesn't have a timing connector to disconnect like earlier chevy TBI engines. The underhood decal says to "ground the ignition bypass circuit" but it doesn't tell where the bypass circuit is. Where is the bypass circuit?

how do you adjust the timing. I know how to do basicly everything. the only thing that i need to know is how to disconnect the idle advance. I know that older cars we would disconnect the vacumn going to the distributor.
