The top of the rear caliper on the back brakes has a cap not a bolt.How do I get the caliper off

does the top where the cap is on the caliper have a bolt under it.instead of a bolt it has a cap with a little rubber nipple sticking through. the bottom is just a bolt like normal .I am changing the pads.

It sounds like the bleeder valve you are describing. They have a rubber cap on them.
