I have read Your answer to "Taraleyna", March 2.... 2009. I have the same problem (flashing security lamp and a "dead" car when try to start) but my car is -93. Are the cars similar in this parts?
Can I shortcut the STARTER ENABLE RELAY CONTROL to earth to find out if the fault is there?
( Starter motor and relay, ignition switch, park neutral position switch and cables are ok).

Thank you for your answer!
But:
I have checked battery, ignition switch, starter motor and solenoid, all cables around. Also door and trunk locks. The key is OK.
The problem must bee around the starter enable relay control, but how can I check this part? (NB the old story around the flashing/not flashing security lamp on dashboard).
