bmw fault

i have a bmw 320 L reg.when the car is running the dashboard will turn off completly,then will turn back on.also i can only open the drivers dooor as the passenger door seems to be deadlocked.

The door issue will possibly require a replacement lock solenoid. The cluster might have an internal circuitry issue and if so replacement is indicated.

ok thanks,have you any idea as to why the dashboard will turn of while the car is still running??

There is a possibility that the dashboard has an internal issue related to BUS communication or a circuit board failure, it is practically impossible to determine from cyberspace.
