Repair the A/C climate control

A/C works intermittently. How can the circuit board be repaired ? Which component to look for ?

The printed circuit board is a very delicate piece and if there is any damage it is usually beyond the capability of home handy persons to attempt to repair, have you diagnosed this down to an actual fault at the electrical circuit board?
