Do I have to remove engine to do head gasket or can it be done in the vehicle

Can be done in the car. Does not have to come out. You did not specify motor but the V6 is tight and the 4 is much easier

Hi Guys,
A 1991 Tarago only had a 4 cyl engine. So I wonder if the answer still stands; that you can remove the head with the motor installed. Cheers, Jim

Yes 2.4 twin cam. Head comes of easy took me about an hour. To move the two front engine mounts lower the engine on to the oil filter makes life so much easier. Be carefull not to break the upper timining chain guide. Lesson learnt.
