Replaced head,timing chain set

I have a 1992 Toyota pickup with a 22RE that wont start. I have replaced timing chain, cylinder head. The truck has fuel and fire but it still wont start. Rechecked timing it is good. Can you help.

is compression ok? does it sputter at all or backfire?

Verify the valve and igntion timing could be off
