Smells heavy like petrol

When i'm driving with open windows the car inside smells heavy like petrol, but when the windows is close don't smell it in the car what can be wrong car smells like petrol inside.

-Check the fuel lines if its leaking and also the evaporative emission control system from charcoal canister to fuel tank
