Which is a better choice, a fluid type schock absorber or a gas type?

They both have oil. Gas charged shock absorbers use pressurized gas to prevent the oil from foaming. You won't notice the difference on short trips. After prolonged highway speeds for a couple of hours, you might notice a slight increase in bouncing, ... If you think to pay attention.
