NO4 cylinder in my 1992 suzuki swift gti has deep grooves in it. What could have cause it? can i re-sleeve it or do i have to re-bore it? If i re-bore

The car burst the timing belt and seemed to have bent a valve upon taking off the head the grooves were discovered.

Could have a broken ring? Not sure if you can sleeve it or have to bore it.I would talk to a machine shop about that.
