Thank you for the advice about the IAC. If the IAC were bad, would the car run normally at cruise speed and just run rough at idle? Thank you again!

Neither is the case. The Engine Computer commands the idle air control valve open a little more and it increases the amount of time it pulses the injectors on to provide more air and fuel to increase idle speed. It has nothing to do with rough running, and it's out of the picture at any engine speed other than idle, when your foot is off the accelerator pedal.
